My name is Emma and I started Rainbow Bakes after I had my daughter Sophia. I have been baking for a couple of years for friends and family. I'm a mom of two and generally run around like a mad person, but then how man moms don't!
My first experience of making cupcakes for a party was for Sophia's naming ceremony, I made 100 cupcakes, tray bakes and rainbow jelly for the children.. Not only did all the cupcakes and other goodies go but they went in super speedy time. I remember feeling incredibly proud of Sophia, my lil cupcake, but also of myself and of what I had achieved. I got a buzz from seeing my friends and family eating my cupcakes , smiling and asking for more.
So I baked, and baked and baked. Much to the delight of my partner and son. I attended various baby groups and found loads of willing taste testers and finally built my range of cakes and flavours.
I attended my first craft fair with my cupcakes, incredibly nervous I must say, and they sold really well. I soon found a love for craft fairs and booked up as many as I could through the year.
I would like Rainbow Bakes to be a homely welcoming business. I would like to feel you can always ask for something that we may not have, to adapt or customise what we already have or just generally chat with me about an idea you may have. as a mom I realise time is precious and so are your children and the children you love
I am always trying something new and always open to new suggestions. So if you fancy something unusual drop me a line.
I really hope you try and love my cupcakes and sweet treats, I hope they make you smile and ask for more.
